An interactive Halloween costume

What if a Halloween costume could do more than just look interesting? What if it could make sounds and react to the people around it?

For Halloween this year, Luisa came up with the idea of dressing up as bubble wrap. But rather than stopping at the costume itself, she began imagining ways to make it interactive.

What if the bubbles could make sounds when someone pressed them? What if the costume could play popping, cracking, or breaking noises as she walked around?

The idea opens up a fun combination of costume design, electronics, and sound effects. A simple sound player and a small speaker could turn an ordinary costume into something unexpected.

Luisa's Story

Note for Luisa: This is your project! Tell us how you came up with the idea of dressing as bubble wrap.

Write your story here in your own words. You can change anything we've written above, too!

What We're Imagining

The goal is to create a costume that's fun to wear and even more fun to interact with. Whether the sounds happen when someone presses a bubble, when Luisa pushes a hidden button, or simply at random, there's plenty of room to experiment.

After all, what's the fun of bubble wrap if you can't pop it?
