PumpkinShow started with a Halloween question: could a few homemade pumpkin characters sing, tell stories, and perform together?
We imagined a yard full of personalities—each pumpkin with its own voice, a glowing mouth, and a part in the show. Something we could build ourselves, change as new ideas came along, and bring back each Halloween.
Behind that idea was another question: how could we make running the show as approachable as creating it? Pick a character, give it something to say, choose a song, and bring it to life from one place.
That became the vision for PumpkinShow: a tool that connects the creative work—characters, voices, music, and stories—to the lights and hardware that make it happen.
It brings together the things we enjoy at Imagine Make Repeat: making things by hand, experimenting with code, and mixing AI with the everyday. In this case, the everyday happens to be a pumpkin.
